  • Please use tripod for your video. Also please move your video to a faster server

  • As you shoot you need to remember use a persetting on your camera as you move around your video go dark and it become harder to see what you are trying to get across. Using a tripod would help but if you can try using a slower move around it’s to hard to follow you around as it is right now.

  • I don’t mind the handheld camera makes it personal :) love the ridiculously simple trick be sure I will try it on my next glamour girl or sports helmet shot …

  • This is an amazingly simple trick . . I LOVE it, thank you so much. I’ll be trying it very soon!

  • I love learning quick simple new ideas that don’t require new gear.
I may try this with a bride in a window and just kick the window light back in her eyes.
    Thanks so much!

  • The jiggling at the beginning was disturburbing and seemed amateur. Once again, much better sound is needed. I did like the “trick” and reflecting with a mirror works nicely.. but.. how did you hold it in place, how would it work with flash units, or is it only for spots? What “market” do you target for this style shot?

  • Great idea, keep them coming! I did wonder how the mirror was held though…an assistant or the model?

  • I love the videos just keeping them coming. The mirror trick is too cool…. I will try it soon.

  • It takes practice..but it looks so cool..
I can’t wait to show you some more tricks.

  • I have an assistant hold the mirror.

  • I will fix the audio sorry..these are amatuerish cause I am just trying to get it out there, we have full quality production tutorials but have a cost because of the production time involved..
I use this mainly for seniors.. I do use it with flash also just put a grid on the light!

  • great tip Rod … much simpler than the little light with a snoot that I use … and better results.

  • Nice, simple trick for an amazing look that the Seniors will LOVE.

  • thank you for sharing, consider me your new student! I enjoy your honesty and energy and look forward to learning from the best!!

  • I love the mirror trick! I am always looking for lighting tricks because I hate the same old boring setup. On my way home today I am going to go by the Dollar Store and pick one up… so excited!
