  • I could not find a place to leave feedback, I got the message about how you wanted some feedback, and I guess this is the place to leave it. In my opinion, the videos do not have good quality sound at all, I put my laptop speakers on the loudest, along with the video, and still it was hard to hear anything. I am sorry if this sounds a bit mean, but the videos were a bit boring, and too much talking, and not enough hands on material. Also the videos are posted on vimeo, which is fine, since it is free, and has good quality, but I thought I would see a personal video interface. Also the leaving a question for you to answer, and requesting for you to speak somewhere, is not what I expected, it’s just a link to email you, not some nice message box like the one I am writing on or something, just a link that opens my email provider, and places your email on the to box. Well hope this helps improve your page, and videos, sorry if it was sort of rude, but it might help.

  • I love your work! very inspiring.

  • For me, overall, these are excellent. I agree that the production values fall a little short, but — this is a classic example of content over concept. The audio is not so bad that you cannot be understood. The video streamed well. I can see everything you are doing. Keep pricing affordable. Leave out the high end production values. Isn’t it much more valuable to get the “learning.” Nothing any of the videos was so distracting that I couldn’t learn.

    Nice!

  • Thanks Mark,

I just wanted content out quickly..my real tutorials are professionly done, but take so much time..that it is hard to give for free,,two cameras,,mics syncing..then rerendering..

  • I am sorry about the sound I will fix it .No i want the feedback..These videos are quick snippets of ideas..and i want to get them out there quickly..My tutorials take days of production time, to edit have 2 cameras, real mics and so on.. the production time is insane..I did these with a flip so I could get stuff out for free and no time to share..I think I can fix the audio and I will reupload. I will talk to my web guy about the email thing to speak comments etc..to make more professional..I like that idea..

  • I love that you are offering these things (free even!).

  • I am also assuming this is where you would like the feedback you have requested. I have viewed a couple of your videos, yes the sound isn’t the best on the intro video, the other two I viewed are better, I can use headphones if necessary. I’m mostly interested in lighting techniques. Marketing will probably come later. Thanks for making what you have learned available.

  • Lighting one of my favorite subjects..

I am leaving for a week to MAINE when I get back I will do a few fun lighting tips!!
